Policy

Advocating for growers’ interests, influencing policy, and guiding compliance. NZKGI is your voice in government and your partner in navigating regional rules.

Championing kiwifruit growers

NZKGI represents and advocates for the interests of New Zealand kiwifruit growers at both central and local government levels. We engage in policy discussions and respond to proposed changes, ensuring the kiwifruit sector’s voice is heard. Where appropriate, we collaborate with horticultural industry partners to provide the kiwifruit perspective. We offer practical guidance to growers to help them understand and comply with regional regulations.
